Welcome! My world is a beautiful place, full of creativity, healing, love, self-compassion, communion with my higher self and paying it forward. I did not arrive here easily.
In addition to graduating from Yale with Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors (and wrestling with depression, hearing loss and the inability to meditate among other challenges), I spent years learning and absorbing life-changing practices culled from retreats, workshops, classes, workbooks, meditation techniques, spiritual teachings, therapeutic modalities, creative expression methodologies and life itself.
From those, I collected what I experienced to be the most effective, impactful and life-changing practices... and created the W METHOD, a simple way to build confidence and a brighter, happier, more rewarding, resilient and abundant life.
My creative resume is varied and rich: I have written one novel and several screenplays. I wrote and starred in the short film All Time Lowe, and in a one-act play called One More Round, directed by acclaimed acting teacher Howard Fine at the Sacred Fools Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. I also wrote and starred in the one-woman show I Remember Me, which enjoyed a four week run at the Gardener Theatre in Hollywood and a six week run at the Theatre of Hope in North Hollywood.
As a singer/songwriter, I currently write and sing for GirlBand USA. Years ago, I performed with the Shana Susman Band in venues such as the Knitting Factory, the Cat Club and the Rainbow Room.
As a writer/editor, I served as Creative Director for award-winning TV writer/producer Lawrence Kaplow (House, Body of Proof) and was the Editor-in-Chief of the online fashion magazine The Network Talent, editing and nurturing over 60 writers during my tenure.
I was an executive for much of my adult life too. I worked alongside the founding members of LegalZoom.com and was instrumental in that company’s meteoric rise, and I co-founded and spent years helming the wildly popular coffee shop/roastery in Beverly Hills, Aharon Coffee & Roasting Co.
Parallel to these creative and executive paths, however, I always found myself intentionally nurturing, helping and caring for others. I coached friends and colleagues to follow their passions. Professionally and casually, I wound up tutoring and coaching celebrity and non-celebrity clients alike.
But it wasn't until I experienced a deeply painful rupture in my own personal life - when my marriage of 20 years, to the father of my 4 kids, came to an abrupt and unexpected end - that the seeds of the W Method were planted. The loneliness I felt, the resentment, fear and devastation, they all began to serve as catalysts for this new journey.
I absorbed book after book, technique after technique, unearthing, experiencing, and healing some of my deepest wounds and self-sabotaging behaviors. Exploring and delving into around 50 modalities in under 2 years, I was amazed to find that I had succeeded to alchemize my pain and heartache into radiant self-love, creativity, compassion, and a fierce desire to share what I had learned.
I became a Confidence Coach after practicing and absorbing healing and nurturing modalities that transformed my own life completely. Many of the tools and techniques derive from ancient spiritual and energetic tools, and I offer them to each client in a personal way that yields unparalleled results.
